The FSGX1 is a heavy‑duty, industrial foot‑operated switch made by BCH, built for rigorous use in machine tools and manufacturing environments where hands‑free control is needed.

• Contact Configuration: 1 NO + 1 NC (Single Pole Double Throw – SPDT), i.e. one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. 

• Guarded Version: Comes with a guard cover to prevent accidental operation.  

• Enclosure: Oil‑tight and water‑tight enclosure for the contact block to protect against harsh environments. 

• Operating Life: Mechanical & electrical endurance rated around 10 million operations. 

• Durability & Build: Rugged metal body with a silver‑grey hammertone enamel finish inside & out. Designed for heavy usage. 

• Standards: Built to conform with IEC / IS/IEC‑60947‑5‑1 standards for foot switches / control gear. 

• Actuation: Front treadle (the pedal) operated. Press with foot to close normally open contact; release returns it to default position (spring return) if configured so. 

• Position Options: The switch may be 2‑position (on/off), or 3‑position (spring return types) depending on variant. 

• Contact Blocks Options: Variants allow different numbers/types of contact blocks such as:
    • 1 NO + 1 NC 
    • 2 NO + 2 NC 
    • Even up to 4 NO + 4 NC in some models.
